Mr. Yan holds a Master Degree of International Transportation Management from SUNY Maritime College. He has been a Certified US Customs Broker for many years and has his own Customs Brokerage Firm in JFK New York. He published many articles in local Chinese news paper in New York area. He spoke in many seminars sponsored by variety of associations. Most importantly, He has been teaching US Customs Broker Licensing Exam Preparation Class for many years, and many of his students passed the exams and are currently working for customs brokerage firm, importers and also freight forwarders in tri-state area.

Brite Gu
Instructor

Mr. Brite Gu is the CEO of LOPA. Mr. Gu graduated from Dalian Maritime University with a BS degree-Ocean Transportation in 1994. He served eight years on-board for China Shipping Group and made the youngest Captain in the company by holding Master license on ships (unlimited). Mr. Brite also received a MS degree in Transportation Management from State University of New York, Maritime College.

Greg Fabricant
Advisor

Mr. Fabricant was a former US Customs officer and an import specialist in garment and textile. He quitted his job and got himself a US Custom Broker license. He worked for US Federal government for about 10 years and has more than 30 years experience in the field. He also holds a MBA degree.

Professor Wang
Instructor

Ms. Wang holds 3 Master’s Degrees including a Master of Public Policy degree from Duke University. She has also been trained at Johns Hopkins University – Nanjing University Center for Chinese and American Studies.

She is a published author in both English and Chinese. Her English works have been collected by Stanford Law School, Social Science Research Network, Booth School of Business at University of Chicago. She is also a guest speaker on public policy at some major media including The Voice of America.

Ms. Wang has rich teaching experiences. She worked for the New York Institute of English and Business as a Director of Education. She is a MPA Practice Professor at Nankai University.

In her efforts to obtain a New York State Teacher Certificate, Ms. Wang passed both tests (LAST: total score 253; ATS-W: total score 257) on her first try with only 1 month preparation.
